Cover Story
I
am a regular reader of ZeiTGeiST
ASIA and I am grateful to you
for publishing stories on
environment. I was very much
impressed with the cover story
on Copenhagen in the December
issue. Thanks for your efforts
in bringing out the story in a
comprehensive manner which is
easily understood by the
readers. I could never have
known the gravity of the
situation of the evil effects of
carbon emissions that the world
is facing. I express my sincere
gratitude for analyzing the
underlying politics and
confrontation between the
developing nations and the
developed ones.

Organised retailing which
has begun in India and
represented by the mushrooming
of mall culture in India has
been very well covered in the
November issue. The aesthetical
and architectural concept of the
mall in the light of the limited
natural resources is a good
solution, which the city
planners need to adopt. Thanks
for taking up a subject which
would prove an eye opener to one
and all.

Khandu The Driver
Thank God! Khandu is back. I
really missed him in the
November issue. The Khandu
column always gives me a tip or
two to feel good. The common man
was never an idiot as he is
generally made out to be by the
elites and the so-called
mainstream media.We should all
be proud of the increasing
awareness of Khandu who is a
true representative of the
common man. Hats off to his
logical explanations with
underlying satirical remarks
that prove his point. I am sure
this column will serve as an eye
opener to the society.

International
I am an annual subscriber of
ZeiTGeiST ASIA. The
international stories are very
informative and keep me abreast
of the happenings across the
world. In the International
column of the November issue I
really liked reading “The Dragon
Digging Into Himalayan Snows.”
It was very informative on the
India-China border dispute.
John Mathews, Cambridge, USA
I am a student preparing for
various competitive
examinations. I was in search of
a magazine that would
incorporate an analysis of the
important events in Asia, Europe
and America. Moreover “The Month
that Was” pages give all the
important news briefs of
national and International
importance. ZeiTGeiST ASIA
caters to my needs and I am
planning a yearly subscription.
How do I go about it?
